Our 3-year-olds had the tastiest field trip today! We headed to the local bakery and practiced some big-kid skills: choosing the buns they like, and handing over their dollar bills. For many of them, this was their very first time "shopping" all by themselves - there’s nothing quite like the joy of a delicious bao earned all by yourself! March 4, 2026

Today, as we welcome the first day of the Lunar New Year, we also celebrate the incredible spirit of our students. During last Friday’s New Year celebration, they didn’t just study Mandarin—they lived it. From the vibrant energy of the lion dance and the mindful art of calligraphy to traditional games, photo booth dress-ups, and the exchange of lucky red envelopes, students of all ages joined together in festive harmony. JSP Jumpstart is a seven-week summer program focused on learning, discovery, and lots of fun! In between growing skills in core subjects, students will go on field trips throughout Chicago, sing and dance in Chapel, and grow deep relationships with their peers and teachers.
