Dear Friend, As we say goodbye to 2019, PTCS has much to celebrate in the way of milestones and firsts! We closed on the property of our future campus in April. We debuted our freshly-penned school song (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Bal7SWjqX0) during the holiday season. We held our inaugural Giving Tuesday LIVE Facebook Broadcast event. On Giving Tuesday, friends from near and far donated, shared, liked and commented via Facebook. The outpouring of encouragement, insights, and ideas was beautiful to behold. In December, through the joint participation of our school board’s generous matching donor pool, we reached our year-end fundraising goal of $1 Million! And so...It is with great delight that we officially announce the completion of Project Nehemiah Phase One! With excitement, we retire all loans made to purchase the property for our planned school and look forward to entering all future fundraising debt-free. As we greet the new decade, we reflect on the awesome privilege we have in creating a learning environment our families call home. We look forward to the years to come, as we journey towards our goal of making history through urban Christian education and building a new home unlike any other school in the city. We could not carry out our mission without your support. You have made it possible for us to exemplify joy in learning and love in teaching. Let us enter the new year with rejoicing and seeking God’s will as we continue to gather resources to break ground on our planned school. Stay tuned for more news!
