Dear Parents,
As this summer comes to an end, I look back on a successful JSP Jumpstart program with the largest amount of students, amazing teachers and volunteers, and many field trips and learning activities for your children. This is also the time to start preparing your children for school and keep in mind the upcoming events for your family (listed in the left column). If your child needs after school programming please refer to the next page for descriptions.
PTCS is always thinking about new innovation and improvements for the school, and we have welcomed many new changes this summer, first with this brand new format of our school newsletter; secondly we welcomed 8 new teachers and staff to our team (next page); and last but not least, new Chromebook laptops for each student in 1st to 3rd grade. With this new technology, our teachers are busy preparing the best learning subscription for your child, and we ask that you share these expenses with us with a minimum technology fee now applied to all 1st to 3rd grade students. We are grateful for these additions to even better meet the needs of your children’s education.
I am also grateful to share that our new website is almost ready to be published by September, thank you to our volunteers’ tireless work.
