Why did you come to teach at PTCS?

I fell in love with PTCS when I was completing a research project in PTCS for one of my classes at DePaul University. All the staff, administrators, and teachers here are working as a family with lots of love. The students at PTCS are happy, caring, disciplined and energetic and they are beyond academic expectations. Once you join in, you would never want to leave. I genuinely believe that it is God who led me to PTCS.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

As a foreign language teacher, I love to see my students gaining a new world-view. Not only they are learning a different language and culture, but also acquiring the mindset to think individually and globally. It is such an enjoyable experience to see children rise to their potential with joy.

What are your favorite moments with students?

During the final week of the school year, students were doing a group presentation in Mandarin. Their confidence and smiles are the most memorable moment for me.
