Miss Esther Tsai was born in Taiwan; she moved to the States at the age of twelve and grew up in
New Jersey. Upon her college graduation, she moved to Taiwan for a year and taught as a 3rd grade
classroom teacher in an American school in Teipei. Her love for traveling and adventure later
brought her to Korea, and taught high school Mandarin and special education at Taejon Christian
International School. After a short-term of traveling overseas, Miss Tsai returned to New Jersey
and became a middle school special education teacher. However, the fond memory of being a Mandarin
techer in Korea made her want to continue teaching as a Chinese teacher. Moving to Chicago and being
able to teach Mandarin and dance ministry at PTCS is one of the greatest blessings that Miss Tsai
has from God. In her free time, Miss Tsai likes to listen to music, sing, do arts and crafts, learn
