Name: Katie Tseng

Class: 5th and 6th Grade

Qualifications: I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I went on to get a Master of Science in Education at Northwestern University.

Family: My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary last year and are so thankful to the Lord for giving us two wonderful daughters.

Hobbies: I like baking, doing a variety of arts & crafts, and spending time with family.

Music: I enjoy many kinds of music but I most often listen to hymns and Christian music.

Movies: Julie and Julia is a recent favorite.

Nobody would believe: I never had Chinese food until I was in college. My college roommates joked that it would be funny if I married a Chinese man… Several years later I did! I guess God has a sense of humor!

Food: I enjoy almost any kind of food, especially if someone else is doing the cooking!

Books: Christian biographies are my favorite genre. I am inspired by the stories of ordinary men and women who have served our extraordinary God. I also like books that teach: how to quilt, how to organize, how to clean, how to cook etc.
